Abstract:

Generally, storage long time gun propellants cause negative ballistic effects. thus, retain ballistic stability of gun propellants during storage is one of the requirement new gun propellants. in this paper, deals with the ballistic stability conventional and new gun propellants. Therewithal, effective factors on ballistic stability and changing ballistic parameters (muzzle velocity & peak pressure) during aging, summarized in this paper.
